Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach is seeking a dynamic and strategic

Assistant Director of Operations – Food & Beverage

to support the oversight of all F&B operations across the property. This leader will play a critical role in elevating the hotel’s dining and beverage experiences, with a strong emphasis on

innovation, revenue growth, and brand presence .

This position is ideal for a forward-thinking F&B professional who thrives on creativity and collaboration. The Assistant Director will partner closely with Culinary, Sales, and other hotel leadership roles to develop and execute both short-term and long-term strategies that enhance outlet performance, drive F&B revenue, and position the hotel as a premier dining destination in the market.

Key Responsibilities

Support overall leadership and operational oversight of all Food & Beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and banquet operations

Identify and implement creative programming, activations, and experiences that elevate outlet visibility and drive top-line revenue

Collaborate with Culinary and Marketing leadership members to develop strategic initiatives that increase outlet capture

Analyze performance metrics and market trends to inform innovative revenue-generating strategies

Lead and support cross-functional initiatives that align F&B operations with broader hotel goals and brand standards

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service excellence across all F&B teams

Oversee and enhance guest experience standards through training, coaching, and consistent execution

Partner in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to optimize profitability

Ensure all outlets maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and service in alignment with Hyatt brand expectations

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

Proven track record of leading collaborative F&B teams that resulted in increased revenue and improved outlet performance

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute creative programming that attracts guests and enhances venue appeal

Experience in a

multi-venue environment , with responsibility for strategic planning and operational oversight

Strong background in elevating the guest experience through training, service standards, and team accountability

Ability to partner effectively with Culinary, Sales, and other departments to drive both short-term wins and long-term growth

Strategic mindset with strong analytical skills and a results-driven approach to revenue generation

Previous

luxury brand F&B experience preferred

Minimum of

6+ years of progressive leadership experience

in Food & Beverage operations

Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Passion for hospitality, innovation, and creating memorable guest experiences
