As an RCR with 2 to 3 years of experience, you can earn $20,000+ in annual incentives, plus a base salary range of $40,000–$46,000, depending on experience, education, and geographic location.
Why This Role Matters As a
Regional Carrier Representative , you’ll be at the center of our brokerage operations connecting qualified carriers with available freight and keeping freight moving across the country. You’ll partner closely with teams across ATS Logistics and serve as the key link between carriers and our shippers/customers.
What You’ll Do
Contact existing, inactive or potential carriers
Negotiate rates with carriers to handle customer shipments; maintain pricing and rate quoting competitive to the current market conditions
Learn to sell our well‑recognized product
Dispatch qualified carriers to available freight, providing all pertinent information necessary for a high level of service, responding to questions, investigating and resolving problems as needed, and updating carrier trips in the data system
Update computer system to reflect accurate information
Manage a book of business of more than a million dollars annually
Act as a liaison between carriers and shippers
Skillset for Success
A strong communicator persuasive, professional, and confident
Comfortable handling outbound calls, inbound calls, customer meetings
Experienced in customer service (or eager to learn with transferable skills)
Organized, disciplined, and proactive with follow‑through
High sense of urgency
Tech‑savvy and familiar with CRM tools

Compensation & Benefits
Total cash compensation range of this position is $46,000.00 to $57,000.00+, including a base salary starting at $40,000+ and a first‑year training incentive of $6,000.00. Base salary offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for performance‑based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance.
