Job Overview: Blasting requires utilizing basic hand tools, air tools, hoist equipment and computers. Positions may be required to lift up to 40lbs. Need to have excellent attention to detail, strong hand dexterity, problem solving skills. This is a fast-paced environment.
Blasting: This position consists of running a blasting cabinet effectively as well as the testing and inspection of various parts. This position is responsible for blasting surfaces of different components to remove the original finish such as paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm
Qualifications:
The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 40lbs.
The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
The ability to use handheld tools such as impacts, drills, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
Walking: Frequently
Stooping (forward leaning): Occasionally.
Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally
Salary and Benefits:
Starting rate $20.00 + based on experience.
Multiple performance reviews within your first two years, which include the ability to receive multiple wage increases
PTO and 10 paid holidays after 30 days
Quarterly bonus after 6 months of employment
