The
Sr. Marketing Specialist
role will engage and inspire Hermanson clients and staff through the creative and effective expression of Hermanson Company’s capabilities, approach, values and purpose.
This role is a key member of the Hermanson Marketing team, responsible for executing sales and marketing activities to support business growth. This position focuses on developing, maintaining, and optimizing marketing efforts for assigned business groups while collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
The Sr. Marketing Specialist plays a vital role in proposal development, sales collateral creation, event coordination, and client engagement. To be successful, they must possess strong organizational, writing, and communication skills to effectively support the company’s marketing strategies and sales initiatives. Additionally, the Sr. Marketing Specialist would lead a team of Marketing Specialists to balance the proposal and interview workload.
The Sr. Marketing Specialist will be a key player in communicating Hermanson’s Purpose & Core Values, culture, capabilities, and competitive differences to current and potential clients, to the extended A/E/C industry, development, and owner community, and to Hermanson employees.
Support project and client sales efforts with BGLs and executives
Lead document planning and organization
Develop RFQ and RFP compliant written narratives
Edit and produce final documents
Support interview planning, production, and review
Participate in strategy sessions shaping written and presentation messaging
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on project presentations
Incorporate SME input; proof and edit proposals and materials
Collaborate across departments on project and company marketing strategy.
Update and maintain Hermanson Sales and Marketing Collateral, including
Annual review and update of Sales collateral
Prequalification management
CRM maintenance
Collaborate with Business Development team
Serve as a resident composition resource to Operations, Business Groups, and Corporate Support Management teams, and assist with QA/QC of Hermanson external documents.
Assist in all tasks necessary to support Hermanson Company Sales, Business Development and internal & external Marketing, communications, and branding efforts
The salary range for this position is $105,000 to $118,000. (The compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience).
Capabilities & Experience:
Strategic thinker with strong organizational and project management skills, experienced in creating strategies and materials for sales and long-term business development.
Proven ability to positively support others, including those in cross-functional teams
5-10 years of experience in Sales Support and/or Marketing, preferred experience in a similar role in the A/E/C industry.
Leadership experience in managing teams of various sizes.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.) as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe InDesign desktop publishing.
Professional level written, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Possess a problem-solving aptitude, bringing solutions forward
Ability to adhere to deadlines, multi-task, prioritize requests, and fulfill last minute requests.
Education:
Four-year University degree, preferably in English Composition, Communications, Marketing, related program or relevant experience.
A-Player Qualifications:

Relationship development – consistently attentive to goals and desires of customer, develops strong relationships with decision makers by exhibiting high integrity and reliability.
