Job Duties

Applies creative, client‑centric thinking to develop innovative, audience-focused document deliverables that align to client objectives and expectations

Partners directly with client-facing teams (business development, technical SMEs, managers, and other designers) to translate client needs into designs that support proposal and presentation messaging, win themes, and strategy while adhering to brand standards

Supports the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for client deliverables, from intake/design brief through concepting, production, revisions, and final delivery

Develops and maintains client-ready templates and resource libraries (graphic and document) to improve consistency, responsiveness, and quality across deliverables

Designs and produces high-impact digital and print materials that enhance readability, guides the reader through complex content, and creates polished, client-ready documents

Uses typography, layout, color, and composition to reinforce overarching design themes and create emphasis and clarity for client audiences

Creates a broad range of client deliverables (e.g., infographics, presentations, proposals, flyers, and other print/digital assets) that make complex ideas accessible and compelling for stakeholders

Creates visual concepts, using understanding of the business requirements and stakeholder context behind the content, that clarify and strengthen audience understanding and decision-making

Ensures visual consistency across deliverables so artistic elements carry through proposals, presentations, and client-facing materials; maintains brand/visual identity compliance and any client-specific style requirements

Performs quality control on all graphics and layouts to ensure accuracy, currency, and error-free client deliverables (spelling, formatting, data integrity, and visual alignment)

Demonstrates strong listening, consultative communication, and decision-making skills to incorporate feedback, resolves ambiguities, and recommends design approaches aligned to client goals

Exercises sound judgment and proactive communication to keep client-facing teams informed of status, risks, timelines, and progress, ensuring deadlines and expectations are met

Other duties as required

May supervise marketing and communications administrative or support staff

Qualifications Education

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or visual arts, required

Experience

Minimum of three (3) years of experience accompanied by a strong portfolio, required

License / Certifications

N/A

Software

Highly proficient in Adobe InDesign, preferred

Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), required

Highly proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools, preferred

Language

Spanish, preferred

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong listening, consultative communication, and decision‑making skills to incorporate feedback, resolve ambiguities, and recommend design approaches aligned to client goals

Strong organizational skills

Strong skills in layout, composition, and methods of design for easy review

Willingness to follow branding guidelines, yet creatively design within the parameters for client-oriented appeal

Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to take initiative

Ability to work well in a team environment to manage document edits, organize information, and improve work products

Able to take direction, develop and design materials in real-time, and quickly incorporate feedback

Ability to translate concepts into content that is accessible to audiences with mixed levels of expertise

Ability to follow file protocols and organizational structures to house document information in a manner that allows for accessibility to other groups when information is needed

Ability to work flexible hours; some weekends, holidays, and late evenings will be required to meet client/proposal deadlines and objectives

Desire to continue building skill set with education and training

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Willingness and ability to work under pressure to develop creative designs

Familiarity with video production processes, including capturing footage, editing, and exporting in various formats.

Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality control in design and video editing work

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a customer service focus

Excellent project management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
