Overview Are you a visionary technical leader in hospitality engineering seeking a transformative Director of Engineering role? Join our team as the Director of Engineering and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our property. As the Director of Engineering, you will oversee a dynamic team and be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and management of all engineering operations. From enhancing energy efficiency to maintaining state-of-the-art hospitality facilities, you will drive operational excellence and deliver superior guest experiences. Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize engineering operations and enhance overall efficiency.
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and renovation of the property's infrastructure and systems.
Manage the engineering team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to drive excellence.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of engineering services.
Implement sustainable hospitality engineering initiatives to drive energy conservation and green facility management.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and exceptional service delivery.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Director or Assistant Director required
Proven experience in hotel, institutional, and commercial HVAC systems management (3-5 years)
Refrigeration, HVAC certification
Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, life safety systems, preventative maintenance systems etc
Budget management, cost control and financial responsibility experience with stationary engineering licensed preferred Valid Driver’s license
Ability to communicate effectively with public and other Team Members
