SUMMARY As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will cultivate and maintain relationships with your portfolio of clients and serve as their main point of contact and service for their insurance program. You will also use your market knowledge in combination with our internal resources and agency Producers to market new business and renewals.

RESPONSIBILITIES (includes, but not limited to) the following:

Maintain a Commercial Lines book of business for small, medium and large commercial clients.

Respond to clients, insurance carriers, and sales team correspondence and requests in a timely, effective, and professional manner.

Research and present answers to client questions about their policies and coverage.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge on carrier products, guidelines, underwriting, and legislative changes in order to make effective recommendations to clients.

Analyze and compare current exposures to develop renewal or new business specifications for marketing.

Process and submit new and renewal clients for marketing and placement, review and summarize quotes for competitiveness and accuracy.

Prepare proposals with the help of the sales team for client presentations.

Broadly participate in the retention and growth of your assigned book of business.

Process and check policies, endorsements, endorsement requests, and audits for accuracy.

Conduct coverage reviews with your clients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience

Property and Casualty Insurance Licenses or ability to quickly obtain

Previous experience with insurance.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Possess a positive attitude

Ability to be a team player and work well with Sales Team and Agency Leadership
