Responsibilities

Build and maintain positive relationships with commercial clients by providing tailored insurance solutions to meet their specific needs.

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial accounts, handling inquiries, policy changes, renewals, claims, and other service requests.

Conduct regular policy reviews and make appropriate coverage recommendations to clients to ensure comprehensive protection for their businesses.

Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate pricing, coverage options, and terms on behalf of clients.

Assist in the preparation of quotes, proposals, and market comparisons to provide clients with the best insurance options.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in the agency's database, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Provide effective communication with internal teams such as underwriters, producers, and claims specialists.

Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and insurance products to provide clients with innovative solutions.

Participate in training and professional development to continually enhance knowledge and skills in the insurance field.

Qualifications/Requirements

Proven experience as an Account Manager, Insurance Coordinator, or similar role in the commercial lines insurance industry.

State insurance licensing required (e.g., Property & Casualty license).

Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and industry trends.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Self-starter with the ability work independently and as part of a team.
