We are looking for an Assistant Program Director – VN Program to join our team. This position works with and reports to the Campus Program Director of the Vocational Nursing Program. Assists the Director with planning, developing, managing, updating, and evaluating all aspects of the program Prepares data and written materials for state, board, and regulatory reporting, proposals, self‑studies, surveys, and site visits Identifies and secures outside resources for the nursing program Evaluates agency capabilities to provide clinical experience aligned with program objectives Ensures Facility Approval Applications are completed and approved before initiating clinical rotations Monitors completion of student theory and clinical evaluations by faculty in a timely manner Maintains evaluations from students, clinical site representatives, and faculty at the end of each rotation Supports strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives to maintain program quality Continuously seeks improvements in instructional quality Manages clinical assignment, rotation matrix, and calendar updates Ensures faculty adhere to policies and guidelines regarding clinical rotations Reviews student learning materials continually Maintains student records in accordance with policies Submits required program reports and forms to the Director promptly Stays current with new technologies and safety regulations Provides advising and planning assistance to potential students Verifies that all students complete required documentation and meet graduation and licensing exam requirements Teaches either theory or clinical coursework for half of the assigned time Performs other duties as assigned The annual pay range for this position is $115,000 (minimum), $125,000 (midpoint), and $130,000 (maximum), depending on experience. Qualifications
Valid, clear, current, and active RN license in the state of application Baccalaureate degree from an approved institution Minimum of three years’ RN experience, including at least one year in teaching or clinical supervision, or a combination within a state‑approved nursing or vocational program in the last five years; or minimum of three years in nursing administration or education within the last five years Completed courses in teaching, curriculum development, and administration offered by an approved school Additional Information
