Position Product Acceptance Specialist
in
San Antonio, TX
supporting the C‑17 program for Boeing Global Services (BGS).
Position Responsibilities
Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements
Provides objective evidence of results
Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures
Performs inspections, auditing, surveillance and monitoring
Identifies and documents discrepancies
Segregates and controls non‑conforming items
Performs preliminary review and disposition of non‑conformance
Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification
Identifies repetitive or significant non‑conformances and initiates requests for corrective action
Performs preliminary review and disposition of NCRs with no additional supervision
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality or in a regulated industry
3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
3+ years of experience with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
3+ years of experience with full understanding of conforming and non‑conforming parts tagging and control requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree or higher
2+ years of experience identifying root cause and implementing corrective actions
2+ years of experience working in a cross‑functional environment
1+ year of experience in a formal or informal team leadership role
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
