Company description
Hi there! We’re Razorfish. We’ve been leading the marketing industry with our digital expertise since the start of the internet. But in 2020, we did a full reboot. What’s different? It all starts with people. Weird, wonderful, complex people - with diverse backgrounds in strategy, creative and technology. But no matter how different we are, we all have one thing in common. We believe our differences are our strength. We push for inclusion, challenge convention and bring in new perspectives, to inspire new ideas. Because when we connect by understanding what makes people different, we can create unforgettable experiences that enrich lives. Join us at razorfish.com.
Overview As a Social Analyst at Razorfish, you will be joining our 80+ person social discipline within our fast-growing Consumer & Content Experience practice. Embedded on-site with a leading entertainment client, you will play a central role in keeping a 20+ person cross-functional team organized, on-track, and delivering — from campaign kickoff through to performance wrap.
This role is equal parts strategic contributor and operational backbone. You'll support data-informed, platform-native social strategies while owning the day-to-day project management that keeps content pipelines moving, deadlines met, and stakeholders aligned. If you're someone who gets genuine satisfaction from a well-run workflow and has a point of view on what makes content work — this is the role for you.
You'll Be a Great Fit If You:
Are as comfortable in a project tracker as you are in a creative brief — and know how to move fluidly between both.
Can keep complex, multi-title content calendars organized without losing sight of the strategic intent behind each piece.
Communicate clearly and proactively — flagging blockers early, following through consistently, and building trust with everyone you work with.
Have a growing understanding of franchise arcs, premiere windows, and fandom beats, and are excited to help build content strategies that keep audiences engaged from teaser to finale.
Thrive in fast-paced environments with tight turnarounds, tiered titles, and tentpole calendars — knowing when to push, pivot, or pause.
Are collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally with creative, insights, and talent teams.
Responsibilities Project Management
Own day-to-day workflow coordination across a 20+ person cross-functional team using Monday.com and other project management tools — tracking deliverables, managing timelines, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
Maintain and update content calendars, campaign trackers, and briefing documents across multiple titles and platforms simultaneously.
Lead campaign briefing logistics from kickoff through delivery — coordinating between creative, strategy, analytics, and client teams to keep every workstream on schedule.
Proactively surface resourcing needs, timeline risks, and priority conflicts before they become problems.
Build and maintain process documentation — workflow guides, status trackers, and team-facing project summaries — that keep the broader team aligned and informed.
Serve as a reliable point of coordination between internal teams and external partners, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and follow-through.
Strategy
Support platform strategy, content planning, and social channel development across the client’s portfolio of handles (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, X, Threads, and more).
Assist in guiding content execution at the post level, ensuring all content ladders up to broader campaign and channel goals.
Partner with Creative and Marketing teams to support always-on and campaign-based content strategies aligned with platform best practices and audience insights.
Help build and maintain strategic frameworks — channel roles, posting cadences, tentpole maps — to support content planning and cross-functional alignment.
Collaboration + Communication
Collaborate with the Insights team to surface actionable data that guides optimization and demonstrates the impact of social strategy.
Build a foundational understanding of our client's business priorities, applying that context to planning, content choices, and audience engagement.
Support new platform initiatives, emerging content formats, and testing plans for innovation and growth.
Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in social media strategy, content planning, digital marketing, or a project/production management role — ideally in entertainment, media, or agency settings.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-workstream projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
Hands‑on proficiency with project management tools — Monday.com experience strongly preferred; familiarity with Airtable a plus.
Strong organizational skills and an instinct for building systems that keep teams moving efficiently.
Solid understanding of social platform mechanics, content formats, and voice — with curiosity about what makes content work across each channel.
Working familiarity with social tools such as Sprinklr, ListenFirst, and Sprout.
Clear, proactive communicator — reliable, organized, and quick to follow through.
Comfort using data to identify successes and opportunities, in partnership with analytics leads.
Strong attention to detail and consistent ability to deliver on time with moderate guidance.
A proactive, collaborative, and adaptable working style across teams and projects.
Not Needed, But Nice to Have
Some experience or exposure to briefing creative teams, talent, or influencer partners.
Basic knowledge of paid social strategy or how organic content can ladder into earned media.
Comfort navigating a larger organization or working across multiple stakeholders.
Any exposure to entertainment marketing cycles or title-specific social planning.
Familiarity with cultural research or trend forecasting tools.
A background in journalism, editorial planning, or creative production.
