is seeking a full-time Leasing Specialist to join our team in
South Bend, Indiana . The ideal candidate is professional, organized, personable and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position offers a variety of meaningful resident interaction and the opportunity to grow!
Salary Range: $17-$19 based on experience, PLUS COMMISSIONS AND BONUS!
What You Will Do
Engage: Connect with potential residents by warmly greeting visitors, prospective renters, and current residents; provide community information, marketing collateral, and professional tours of the property, amenities, and available or model apartments while ensuring all spaces are clean, attractive, and tour‑ready.
Inspire: Guide prospects through the leasing journey with a warm, professional, and enthusiastic approach by consulting with them to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets, and confidently matching them with the apartment home that best fits their lifestyle.
Support: Deliver top‑notch customer service to current residents by promptly addressing questions, concerns, or complaints, helping residents feel welcomed, supported, and at home within the community.
Close Deals: Use your sales skills to manage all aspects of the leasing process, including applications, credit and background screenings, landlord verifications, and collection of application fees and security deposits, while maintaining a successful closing ratio consistent with industry standards and meeting leasing goals.
Market & Follow Up: Generate and nurture leads by following up with prospective residents, maintaining accurate and appealing listings, posting internet advertisements, completing market surveys, and supporting marketing strategies designed to attract renters and build a strong sense of community.
Maintain Community Standards: Conduct daily property walks to ensure the community, amenities, and apartment homes are neat, tidy, attractive, and in good repair, presenting the property at its best at all times.
Organize & Comply: Record and update information for prospective and current residents in the property management software system while maintaining compliance with all State and Federal Fair Housing laws and regulations.
Collaborate: Work alongside a fun, supportive on‑site team to support leasing, marketing, and resident satisfaction goals, and perform other related duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the community.

Problem‑Solver: Quick on your feet with a can‑do attitude.
Tech‑savvy: Comfortable using leasing software and digital marketing tools.
Experience: Previous leasing or sales experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right candidate!
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
