
Field Marketing & Event Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Field Marketing & Events Specialist to be the driving force behind our brand’s presence in the growing and important US market.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of quantum technology, forging impactful relationships with scientists, researchers, and enterprises in North America. You will be accountable for the tactical planning and execution of all US-based field marketing activities, ensuring alignment with our global marketing and sales strategies.
In this role you will be responsible for Y local program delivery, ensuring the smooth execution of Qblox events and a high-quality brand experience at third-party conferences. Your knowledge of the US market and attention to detail will be essential in supporting our sales team, driving pipeline, and establishing Qblox as a trusted thought leader within the quantum ecosystem. While this position directly supports the U.S. team, there is a collaborative relationship with Qblox Global Marketing based in the Netherlands, specifically as an extended member of the Global Event Manager’s worldwide team.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the planning, coordination, of all major trade shows and conferences in the United States. Plan and execute local high-touch marketing activities such as planning and organizing Qblox participation for key conferences, planning advisory dinners, opening and launch events, etc. Identify, secure, and manage local suppliers, venues, and external partners in the US to ensure high-quality execution within budget and timeline. Collaborate closely with the US Sales team to ensure they are prepared for events, manage lead capture processes, and facilitate the timely follow-up of MQLs generated from field activities. Track spend for US field marketing activities in line with planning, and contribute to post‑event analysis to measure ROI against key performance indicators (KPIs) like attendance and lead quality. Coordinate and plan with Business Operations (Logistics and Office Management)in the US, including shipping and inventory of marketing materials, ensuring flawless event execution. Must Have:
5+ years of professional experience in a Field Marketing, Event Coordination, or Marketing Support role, ideally within the US B2B high‑tech or deep‑tech sector. Proven ability to manage and execute multiple events and marketing programs simultaneously, demonstrating strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable interacting with high‑level customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Strong affinity for high technology and the ability to grasp complex scientific topics (like quantum computing) to support relevant marketing communications. Experience in vendor negotiation, budget management, and measuring event performance (KPIs/ROI). Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within the United States for events, conferences, and sales support activities. Skill preferences:
Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (i.e., Hubspot). Familiarity with the US vendor landscape for event services (A/V, catering, venues, booth suppliers). About Us
