Role Description
This is a full-time, in-office role for an Assistant Property Manager located in Ventura, CA. The Assistant Property Manager will assist in the daily operations of rental properties, including tenant communication, property maintenance coordination, rent collection, and lease agreement management. Responsibilities will also include conducting property inspections, offering maintenance solutions, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining records, and supporting the property manager in delivering exceptional service to tenants and property owners. Qualifications
Experience in property maintenance coordination, lease management, and tenant communications Effective organizational skills, record-keeping, and attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including email and in-person interactions Proficiency with property management software and basic IT tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work in a fast‑paced environment Knowledge of local housing laws and regulations (preferred) Customer service and conflict resolution skills Experience in California's real estate or property management industry is a plus
