Position Overview Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Global Marketing, the Associate Marketing Manager will assist in strategy, development and portfolio management of the Moroccanoil Body category for varying channels of distribution. This cross functional role will collaborate with product development team, digital team, and a myriad of other departments. Successful applicants will be highly organized, detail‑oriented, and have a passion for the beauty industry.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Assist with Body portfolio strategy and product innovation, identifying white space opportunities for growth in line with brand strategy;

Partner closely with Product Development on product concept, positioning, development, all testing and claims, and communication of technologies and benefits;

Liaise with cross functional teams in support of on‑time product launch execution (Product Development, Packaging, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Legal/Tech Reg., Finance and Creative);

Help develop and maintain all product information files. Handle all incoming requests for marketing‑related information and assets as it pertains to assigned categories;

Assist in develop marketing programs and product launch strategies considering positioning and concept; COG analysis, copy and pricing;

Assist in development and execution of Global specific program launch plans for all channels in close partnership with broader cross functional teams (Sales, Trade & Brand Marketing, Education, Social, Digital, etc.);

Interface with Regionals/Markets to ensure product positioning and Body portfolio strategies are clearly communicated;

Liaise with other category Marketing teams (Hair, Fragrance) to ensure holistic innovation calendar is aligned;

Create, submit and track all marketing job requests in partnership with Creative and Project Management;

Develop robust data‑driven market analyses to drive strategic decision making; perform ad hoc analyses as needed to drive business decisions;

Research and track competitors on an ongoing basis; keep abreast of new product launches, promotions, advertising, etc; identify brand‑relevant recommendations/opportunities;

Help prepare agendas, presentations and materials for up‑coming meetings, both internal and external

Organize and maintain marketing product closet, managing product orders and marketing samples/retains for assigned categories;

Any others the Employer may consider essential in ensuring the normal operations of the Employer’s business processes and that falls into the category of expertise of the Employee;

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field;

3+ years of marketing experience required; preferably in CPG (consumer packaged goods; Prestige category a plus)

Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);

Knowledge of the Beauty Industry, an asset.

Good communication and presentation skills;

Ability to prioritize tasks and follow‑up on deliverables;

Strong project management skills;

Takes initiative and able to multi‑task;
