
Assistant Marketing Manager

Akkodis is seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager‑Content contract job with a client in Rochester, NY. Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, design or other related discipline to be considered. Will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager/Senior Marketing Manager in procuring content for mobile and online platforms; including liaising with agencies and designers to facilitate requests, track deliverables and meet deadlines. Will also work in tandem with the marketing, catalog, product management, and sales account teams supporting projects for company’s clients
Rate Range: $25/hr. to $31/hr. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities
Assist the Marketing Manager/Senior Marketing Manager with content account management support, including written communication, project tracking, data analysis and presentation preparation.
Support the Marketing Manager/Senior Marketing Manager with procuring designs, including but not limited to:
Obtaining quotes from agencies and review with Marketing Manager/Senior Marketing Manager.
Sending Creative briefs to agencies/designers.
Assisting with day‑to‑day communication with agencies to answer questions or meet needs.
Utilizing software tools for setting up tasks, monitoring deliverables, troubleshooting with internal & external partners, enriching the designs.
Use Smartsheet for tracking requests, overall timelines and deliverables for design work/delivery.
Conduct Q&A pre‑launch and post‑launch in partnership with the catalog + marketing teams to ensure proper placement, filters, naming, etc.
Assist in content budget monitoring and invoice tracking.
Provide support to the marketing team on products and/or designs used in campaigns and other marketing deliverables, including support of omni‑channel requests.
Actively seek out trend information and provide it to the content team, marketing team and accounts as needed.
Analyze existing sales data to pinpoint content trends, opportunities, and plans for optimization + growth, including lists of poor performers to recommend removing.
Attend & participate in weekly meetings with cross‑functional teams.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, design or other related discipline is required.
Minimum Two years related experience.
Experience in product management, marketing or merchandising is required.
Ability to research and analyze various types of data and make sound business judgments.
Good project management and organizational skills.
General understanding of graphic/image file formats.
