Johnson & Johnson MedTech’s Electrophysiology business is recruiting a Marketing Intern to join our team in Irvine, CA. If you are passionate about improving cardiovascular care and ready to join a team that reimagines healing, this role offers a unique development opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in marketing within the electrophysiology business.

Key Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of marketing strategies that advance innovative technologies for physicians treating heart rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation (AFib).

Internship Experience

Observe and support collaboration between internal teams and external healthcare stakeholders.

Learn how marketing supports physicians, patients, and health systems across the continuum of care.

Learning Outcomes

Demonstrate a foundational understanding of cardiac electrophysiology and AFib patient journeys.

Apply patient‑centric marketing principles in a regulated environment.

Translate market insights into compliant patient education materials.

Collaborate across marketing, clinical, and commercial teams.

Gain exposure to the dynamics of an electrophysiology (EP) lab and healthcare settings.

Position Components

Support disease‑state awareness campaigns, events, and community outreach initiatives to advance patient access to care in EP.

Assist with the development of marketing and educational materials, including messaging and design.

Learn and adhere to healthcare compliance, privacy, and promotional guidelines.

Assist with data collection and analysis related to campaign and event performance.

Support compliant digital and social media patient education initiatives.

Contribute to project timelines, content calendars, and internal tracking tools.

Manage multiple requests, communicate professionally, and maintain composure in high‑pressure situations.

Qualifications

Required

Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Demonstrated leadership/participation in campus programs and/or community service activities.

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Health, Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present in front of large groups.

Interest in healthcare, medical devices, or patient education.

High level of professionalism in healthcare environments.

Ability to lift/move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Advance‑level computer skills and ability to multitask without direct oversight of a manager.

Permanent authorization to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship required at the time of application or in the future.

Co‑Ops/Interns may be eligible to participate in company‑sponsored employee medical benefits per the plan terms.

Co‑Ops and Interns are eligible for sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees in Washington State, up to 56 hours per calendar year.

Co‑Ops and Interns may be eligible to participate in the company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
