Job Description We are seeking a Distribution Designer to support our Power Distribution Engineering team. This role involves designing both overhead and underground electric distribution systems and contributing to a variety of power infrastructure projects.

Job Title Distribution Designer

Responsibilities

Design overhead and underground electric distribution systems.

Collaborate on various power infrastructure projects.

Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Katapult, or SPIDAcalc to complete design tasks.

Ensure designs meet standards set by the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC).

Essential Skills

Proficiency in distribution design and power distribution.

Experience with AutoCAD and Katapult.

Knowledge of electric utility or telecommunications systems.

Understanding of power poles, lines, and utility design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with SPIDAcalc is beneficial.

Knowledge of electrical design and power delivery.

Ability to work with CAD and power & utilities tools.

Work Environment This position offers a hybrid work environment. You will be in the office from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work from home on Fridays. The role provides significant opportunities for growth, starting at the current level with potential progression after a year or two.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carrollton, GA.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
