What Your Impact Will Be:
Create and ideate social media content and concepts for various audiences
Coordinate social executions in collaboration with Mattel brand teams
Manage social calendar and identify opportunities and gaps
Write compelling copy that is on‑brand and on‑strategy
Advise and develop social content strategy for various social platforms
Create social assets optimized per platform
Support social coverage for real‑time events (photos and video) as needed
Monitor social platforms to identify activation opportunities
Identify and optimize content opportunities based on social analytics
Digest business, entertainment, corporate, and brand information and distill it into essential components
Support web‑related content updates using CMS
Provide support in research (trends, topics) as needed
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a positive and productive manner
Work on multiple projects at once, sometimes under time‑sensitive deadlines
Monitor news for topics relevant to Mattel and partners
Vet apps, vendors, and platforms for opportunities and risks
Support Philanthropy, Mattel Studios, Digital Gaming and Corporate Communications initiatives as needed
What We're Looking For:
2+ years of experience managing social media for brand(s) and developing social strategies
Awareness of social media management across platforms: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads
Strategic understanding of the digital and social landscape and what works on various platforms
Strong resourcefulness and solutions‑oriented attitude
Experience with native social platform editing and social stories creation
Highly organized, positive thinker; willing to jump in and get the job done
Superior communication skills with cross‑functional interaction at all levels
Great command of the English language (grammar, spelling, vocabulary)
Relentless attention to detail
Experience using design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva
