Job Description: The primary function of the Leasing Ambassador is to deliver exceptional service to existing and prospective residents to ensure that the community’s occupancy is maximized each year. The Leasing Ambassador places customer needs, requests, and follow up as a top priority. The Leasing Ambassador should be outgoing, energetic, and creative while performing their job responsibilities. The Leasing Ambassador assists in the planning of community events, actively participates in on- and off-campus activities, and must be able to meet specific sales goals as outlined by the Sales & Marketing Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities Leasing & Marketing

Performs all responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.

Represents the community and Landmark Properties in a professional manner.

Adheres to standards and complies with corporate procedures and government laws on Fair Housing.

Participates in resident retention programs.

Conducts all tasks necessary to close the sale, including making appointments, generating new leads, conducting tours, maintaining the model, and traffic follow up.

Completes and submits required materials in a timely manner such as weekly reports, guest cards, and service requests.

Responds to internet and telephone inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

General Administration

Reports on time to your shift.

Ensures confidentiality of client, resident and company information.

Attends and contributes to all staff meetings and any special or emergency meetings.

Understands and adheres to the Landmark Properties policies and procedures.

Maintains a clean and professional work environment.

Reports time and attendance.

Assists with roommate matching, transfers, and move-ins.

Understands the lease document and all related addendums and can clearly communicate all relative information to residents, prospective residents, and parents.

Participates in all move-in and move-out related activities.

Manages time efficiently and effectively.

Customer Service

Understands the needs and expectations of residents, prospective residents, clients, and vendors and exceeds their expectations.

Develops a sense of community among the residents and staff.

Maintains active and effective communication with residents, parents, and university personnel.

Contributes to the monthly newsletter and resident communications.

Maintains a positive community environment for both residents and associates and encourages participation in events and activities.

Assists in mediation and resolution of resident conflicts by encouraging respect for and appreciation of individual differences.

Walks each apartment prior to move in to ensure that the units are clean and ready for move in.

Assists in keeping the community clean by surveying common areas regularly and reporting any concerns and/or helping to clean up when necessary.

Risk Control

Understands, communicates, and enforces community safety, emergency, and fire evacuation policies and procedures, providing emergency response and referral services and resources.

Documents the behaviors of residents that violate the law or the community lease agreement and reports to the Community Manager.

Identifies and reports safety and security risks to the Community Manager.
