Tradeshow & Events Associate
The Tradeshow & Events Associate is part of the Marketing Tradeshow team. This role contributes to the company's success by assisting with the coordination of International, National, Regional, and Distributor trade shows and end-user/customer events. The Tradeshow & Events Associate provides tactical support to the company's Tradeshow, Events, and Marketing efforts, and to its departments and divisions, on a variety of projects. This is a permanent full-time hourly position. Full-Time schedule is Monday - Friday. This position will be located at our Distribution Center: 3151 Northwest 125th St. Miami, FL 33167. Major duties include: Distribution Center Management/ Tradeshow Planning Oversee tradeshow pallet/crate returns and QC of products from tradeshow displays Monitor and maintain inventory of all tradeshow and marketing fixtures and materials at the DC warehouse (signage, furniture, props, catalogs, marketing materials & promotional items) Remove defective or damaged products from inventory due to tradeshow or event travel Visual Merchandising assistance and support as needed (moving furniture and/or making space) Maintain a clean and safe work environment in assigned tradeshow/Marketing aisles/area Event Inventory Oversee the packing of crates for each show Log an inventory list of what's packed in each crate, and send this report to Tradeshow Sr. Manager for each show Inventory and cross-check all crates/pallets/products returned from each show with report sent to Tradeshow Sr. Manager Assist with fulfillment operations by packing and shipping marketing materials requested. Assist with Bulk Mail projects (Holiday Gift mailing, Sales Campaigns, New Catalog distribution, Post-show mailings) as needed Ensure that all projects assigned are being carried out to specification and deadlines Identify problems and proactively seeks out methods to improve the efficiency of an operation, show or task Assists with the booth set-up and tear-down at tradeshows and events, as needed Record personal daily punches and approve accurate bi-weekly time and attendance records Actively participate in all one-on-one and group meetings Performs other duties as assigned Promote our FOH Culture in all interactions Education, Experience, and Computer Skills: High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, QC, or related highly preferred. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and handheld devices is highly desired. Basic understanding of computer programs. The team member frequently is required to handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms. The team member is frequently required to sit. The team member will frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
