Sales Coordinator

The Sales Coordinator provides administrative support to market leadership and sales, supporting large departments with the majority of duties being high-level administrative tasks, which may include planning/coordination of large events, meetings, complex project work, ordering materials and collaterals, and various sales support functions. Work requires initiative and judgment in making decisions, and knowledge of department and company policies and procedures. Supports the sales team and mid-to-upper-level managers. Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities: Advises the customer on any order or status changes. Obtains ship dates from scheduling or lead time tool. Creates and maintains customer files. Handle all administrative responsibilities. Provides support for coordinating customer and internal meetings Obtains customer orders through mail, email, fax, telephone calls, and customer portals. Makes outbound follow-up calls to clarify order information. Resolves customer discrepancies. Prepares status and trend analysis reports. Builds and maintains customer relationships. Assists the Quoting/Estimating function with supplier quotation follow-up and quotation package submittal Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent.
