Responsibilities: Experienced in supporting aircraft refurbishment, completions, and maintenance programs, with strong leadership skills to direct day‑to‑day operations of the Upholstery Shop. Plans and schedules shop workloads while ensuring adequate manpower, materials, and workflow efficiency to meet production targets. Partners with Gulfstream leadership to support company goals, policies, and strategic initiatives. Collaborates with the Quality organization to maintain compliance, proper documentation, and adherence to all requirements outlined in the Repair Station and Inspection Manuals.

Education and Experience Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.

5 years aircraft interior experience required or equivalent (sheet metal, cabinetry, finish, or upholstery).

FAA A&P license required or ability to obtain a repairman certificate within 30 days of start date.

A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred.

Repairman certificate preferred.

Position Purpose: Under general direction, assist with directing and coordinating all activities and personnel involved with interior modification of aircraft to ensure timely and cost-effective fulfillment of delivery schedules and optimum quality and standards.

Job Description - Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Develop work schedules, estimates and status reports; assist in establishing priorities and assigns work to subordinates to meet or exceed scheduled commitments.

Coordinate work assignments with other departments and work closely with engineering and contract administrators to ensure proper fabrication and completion of assigned tasks.

Ensure all workmanship is of highest quality; provide recommendations for continuous quality and process improvement and reduction of cycle time.

Report to management on status of all assignments; prepare and maintain department records and reports.

Instruct, coach and assist subordinates in the interpretation of work procedures, blueprints, and engineering specifications; provide training in work methods and procedures and develop employees' interpersonal skills to enhance flow of departmental tasks.

Follow up and expedite corrective action in shop controlled operations such as workmanship, absenteeism and similar factors that interfere with schedules and create discrepancies or rework.

Implement and monitor a continuous safety program with respect to operation of equipment, work practices and work areas. Continuously enforce FOD regulations. Instruct personnel on good housekeeping practices and supervise maintenance of a clean work area.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Purpose : In coordination with Senior Contract Manager(s) and under general direction, performs a wide range of contract administration functions relating to the preparation of contractual documentation. Oversees and ensures all contracts are administered in accordance with established company policies and procedures, and has oversight responsibility for the aircraft delivery process. Job Description\nPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities:

In accordance with established processes & procedures, ensure that the obligations contained in contractual documents are performed by appropriate personnel/organizations within the company to achieve successful execution of such agreements and ensure that performance adheres to established company goals and objectives.

Assist in the coordination of all activities related to the preparation and execution of contractual documents. Act as the point of contact for the customer regarding the documentation requirements for the acceptance and delivery of each document.

Interact with internal and external customers to ensure customer satisfaction.

Assist in developing and implementing new policies and practices to address changing internal and external contract administration requirements.

Identify all contract risks and ensure they are evaluated, assessed, and coordinated with the appropriate internal and external personnel as directed.

Assist in the development and implementation of controls to monitor contractual performance.

Perform current and historical analysis of existing contracts to support senior management and other departments as requested.

Provide interface between the Savannah facility and off-site personnel on appropriate issues.

Assist in all aspects of developing, disseminating, and administering contracts. Prepare all necessary transactional documents for execution.

Analyze established processes and related documents to ensure that they satisfy contractual obligations and limit the company's contractual liability to that defined in the contract.

Maintain continuous surveillance of status, progress, and potential areas of difficulty and recommend corrective actions to be taken to ensure conformance with contract obligations.

Assist in establishing, maintaining, and updating files and records according to established departmental and company policies and procedures.

Interact with all levels of management and across all departments and organizations as required.

Maintain daily contact throughout all levels of customers organizations as required.

Maintain accurate computer-generated records and maintain various other reports as required.

Essential Functions:

* Performs complex high quality repairs to finished surfaces of aircraft furniture in the shop and on-board aircraft. Applies finish to furniture using spray equipment and other manual/mechanical methods.

* Interprets material specifications to ensure finished product meets design and engineering requirements with a high level of quality and detail. Coordinates with Design group to ensure compliance with customer approved design samples.

* Complies with and champions Safety, 5S and housekeeping. Ensures the protection of aircraft interiors (PTP). .

* Mentors and trains lesser skilled technicians.

* Works to develop and implement process improvements that address safety, reduce cost, reduce cycle time, and man-hours using Lean Six-Sigma tools.

* Utilizes the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and sign-off work.

* Assists in developing initiatives to meet individual OGSM requirements, as required.

Additional Functions:

* Accepts Lead responsibilities when needed. Oversees projects and coordinates with Lead to delegate tasks to assigned technicians. .

* Conducts safety audits and assists team members in doing safety audits. .

* Assists in maintaining shop equipment and associated JSAs. .

* Develops YI@W (Your Ideas at Work) as the opportunities present themselves. .

* Assists in monthly 5S audits. .

Perform other duties as assigned.
