Job Description

Oversee and drive the strategic roadmap and end-to-end delivery of SAP projects and enhancements, ensuring alignment with enterprise business objectives and IT strategy.
Provide executive oversight of SAP application support functions to ensure stable, secure, and responsive operations, including incident management, change requests, and service-level adherence.
Lead planning, execution, and transition activities for major SAP programs such as S/4HANA migrations, global rollouts, cloud integrations, and adoption of SAP BTP.
Act as a key liaison between business executives and SAP technical teams to translate strategic priorities into actionable solutions and support user adoption initiatives.
Establish and enforce robust governance frameworks, including change control, release management, compliance protocols, and standardized support processes.

Required experience

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree (MBA or MS in Technology Management) preferred.
Minimum 10 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in executive or senior leadership roles overseeing SAP delivery and support functions.
Proven track record of leading SAP solution delivery and post-implementation support within mid-to-large global organizations.
Deep functional and technical expertise in SAP platforms, including S/4HANA, and modules such as SD, MM, PP, FI/CO; experience with SAP Ariba, SuccessFactors, and BTP is a plus.
Demonstrated experience leading direct and indirect teams comprising business analysts, IT engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
PMP, SAP Activate, or equivalent project management certification required; ITIL certification strongly preferred.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and vendor management skills, with executive presence and the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES\nThe

Delivery Executive (DE)

is a senior leader accountable for end-to-end delivery success across strategic and value accounts. This role provides executive oversight, fosters trusted customer relationships, and ensures alignment between SAP solutions and the customer's business transformation objectives. The DE is central to driving adoption, consumption, and realized value through the

RISE with SAP

methodology, driving solution to

Fit to Standard (SAP Best Practices) , and

Clean Core

architecture principles, while promoting innovation through

AI-enabled

solutions and creative problem solving.

As the primary delivery representative to customer senior business and IT executives, the DE leads delivery governance throughout the transformation lifecycle—from sales support and implementation to post-go-live stabilization, ensuring consistent focus on customer outcomes and long-term value both customer facing and SAP internal, integrating with the SAP ecosystem across the SAP organization ensuring aligning with global and regional executive sponsors for the customer and their respective teams.

WHAT YOU WILL DO\nEXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Strategic Account Oversight & Governance

Own delivery accountability across assigned accounts, ensuring consistent execution and program success.

Establish strong customer-facing and SAP internal governance frameworks to manage scope, risk, performance, and to drive innovations based on existing and new solution capabilities which are on SAP’s roadmap or are potential future roadmap capabilities.

Monitor consumed Annual Contract Value (cACV) and ensure progress on Commit-to-Consume (C2C) targets.

Provide oversight to delivery managers and project teams.

Facilitate and ensure integration with SAP ecosystem and System Integrators involved in the transformation at the respective customers.

Adoption and Consumption Leadership

Act as the Adoption and Consumption Executive, driving uptake and realized value of SAP solutions.

Lead adoption strategies that support cloud transformation, AI innovation, and operational efficiency.

Ensure delivery is aligned to RISE with SAP standards, drives Fit to Standard (SAP best practices), and Clean Core architectures.

Business Transformation & Value Realization

Align SAP services with the customer’s strategic objectives to enable measurable business outcomes.

Guide digital transformation initiatives and develop long-term value plans.

Leverage creative, AI-driven solutions to solve complex customer challenges.

Executive Engagement & Relationship Management

Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer and SAP executives.

Serve as the senior escalation point for delivery-related matters.

Promote transparency, alignment, and proactive communication across all stakeholders.

Service Expansion & Opportunity Development

Partner with Sales to identify and shape new service opportunities.

Expand SAP’s footprint by aligning future initiatives with customer needs and SAP innovation.

Support talent development and foster a culture of excellence, agility, and collaboration.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING\nEDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES\nWORK EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree is required, Master’s degree preferred

10-15 years SAP services sales and services delivery experience including services management experience. Major Systems Integrator experience preferred.

ERP implementation leadership experience managing teams of 100+ resources with $50M+ revenue per year required including PMP certification.

Track record of being able to translate business strategies into business capabilities needed to enable and to solutions required to operationalize while becoming the trusted advisor to customer business and IT executives.

Track record of leading executive customer-facing and internal steering meetings working with c-level business and IT executives.

Ability to integrate and coordinate with teams external to deployment project to ensure successful delivery across the ecosystem.

Track record of building and managing a portfolio of innovation use case with the customer, proving out use cases, and transferring successful use cases into production.

Track record of leading $30M+ pre‑sales pursuits successfully positioning strategic and business transformative consulting engagements.

Track record of achieving revenue and margin goals while managing multiple client projects of meaningful scope and duration. Proven ability to build trusted relationships at the client business and IT executive level.

Ability to effectively manage and resolve client escalations.
