Summary The Solutions Architect Director champions end-to-end solution development, encompassing design, manufacturing, services, and financials, to craft compelling value propositions that secure customer wins for Celestica. This role collaborates across internal teams to gather solution details and pricing, translates customer business needs into Celestica's capabilities, and communicates technical aspects, timelines, and deliverables effectively. The Global Accounts Solutions Architect plays a pivotal role in driving client success by architecting and delivering quantifiable, technically robust, and well-documented integrated product lifecycle solutions that deliver significant value. This involves strategically assembling and leading expert teams from across Celestica's diverse business and technical domains to optimize CCS Global Account solution strategies. You will establish yourself as the trusted advisor to our customers, building strong, knowledge-driven partnerships at all levels and engaging directly with key client decision-makers in partnership with Sales and GCU leadership. Serving as the primary point of contact for Sales and GCU, you will be a vital resource for the sales organization and a subject matter expert on Mega Deal Teams.

Detailed Description Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

Leading the creation of customized solutions for Global Accounts customers

Providing SME guidance on integrated solutions for Sales engagement teams

Orchestrating the involvement of subject matter experts and site resources as needed for solution development and collaborating with team members to define project boundaries

Engaging in consultative discussions with customers to gain a deep understanding of their unique requirements, communicating customer challenges internally to address in the proposed solution

As applicable, develop value stream maps for customers highlighting end-to-end integrated solutions customer's organization

Collaborating with financial analysts to understand the financial implications of the solution for both Celestica and the client.

Collaborating with Systems Architects, Sales Engineers and HPS to drive technical solutions for both Celestica and the client

Partnering with Sales and GCU teams to create compelling presentations of the solution's value

Supporting the negotiation team by explaining the ramifications of various alternatives

Working with sales to validate and qualify potential opportunities

Developing unsolicited proactive proposals for strategically important customers

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

Physical Demands

Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.

Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, etc.) are frequently required.

Frequent overnight travel may be required

Duties of this position may require working extended hours for months at a time.

Typical Experience

12+ years of applicable experience

2+ years of directly applicable solutions architect experience

Winning percentage on deals

Generated leads within targeted customers

Success of unsolicited proposals

Achieving Financial Plan

Profit & loss responsibility highly desired

Demonstrated capability of developing relationships and effective participation on teams

Typical Education

Bachelor's degree in related field (preferably in Business or Engineering), or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA is preferred.

Educational requirements may vary by geography.

Salary The stated range includes Base Salary and target Short-Term Incentive (STI) compensation only. A comprehensive benefits package is offered in addition to this range.

The range described in this posting is an estimate by the Company, and may change based on several factors, including but not limited to a change in the duties covered by the job posting, or the credentials, experience or geographic jurisdiction of the successful candidate.

Annual Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000
