As a Communications Specialist, you will help shape and elevate how we communicate with our employees across the organization. Our team is looking for someone who is passionate about clear, engaging messaging, enjoys connecting with diverse teams, and takes pride in delivering communications that inform, inspire, and align. In this role, you will lead our employee communication strategy end-to-end, driving clarity, consistency, and engagement across all internal channels to ensure our workforce feels informed and connected.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute internal communication plans aligned with company goals and initiatives
Create and distribute engaging content across internal channels (intranet, newsletters, emails, announcements, and leadership messaging)
Support employee engagement programs, including campaigns, surveys, events, and recognition initiatives
Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to communicate organizational updates, policies, and culture initiatives
Manage and maintain internal communication platforms (e.g., intranet, collaboration tools)
Analyze communication effectiveness using metrics and employee feedback, and recommend improvements
Ensure messaging consistency, tone, and brand alignment across all internal communications
Assist with change management communications and organizational announcements
Support planning and execution of company-wide meetings, town halls, and events
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team goals and project milestones
Qualifications
What You Bring
Experience That Drives Success
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
2+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or a related role
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Experience with internal communication tools (e.g., intranet platforms, email marketing software, collaboration tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams)
Key Strengths & Skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Analytical mindset with experience using engagement metrics and feedback tools
Excellent verbal, written, and cross-cultural communication skills
Computer literate, emphasizing Microsoft Office Suite

Location
This is a full-time position, on-site at our St. Louis office location. The expected schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, but an occasional shift in hours may be necessary to accommodate project schedules. There may be an occasional need for travel to domestic or international locations to enhance employee relations and communication.
