About The Role
The Digital Marketing Specialist is a pivotal member of the marketing team. This is a full-ownership digital marketing role built for someone who is ready to step into a broad scope and grow with it. The Digital Marketing Specialist will own the planning, execution, and optimization of all digital channels: paid media, SEO, email, social, and website, with the support of a small team of offshore coordinators who handle day-to-day execution tasks.
This role reports directly to the VP of Marketing and will have a high degree of visibility and trust from day one. While overall channel strategy, budget allocation, and performance targets are set by marketing leadership, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for translating that strategy into disciplined execution and performance optimization. You’ll have agency support for initial paid media setup and early SOPs, but day-to-day campaign ownership, ongoing optimization, and strategic recommendations are yours.
This is explicitly a growth position. You’ll receive meaningful mentorship and strategic direction from expert marketing leadership, and there is a clear path to expanding your responsibilities as the marketing function scales. The right candidate is someone who is energized by ownership, comfortable with fast-paced environments, and ready to develop management muscle in a real-world environment.
This position requires strong analytical capability and subject matter expertise. The Specialist must be able to interpret campaign data, identify trends, and bring forward informed recommendations to the department head to improve results. This position requires independent thinking, accountability, and the ability to manage campaigns with minimal day-to-day oversight. Lastly, this role manages a small team of offshore digital coordinators and is expected to demonstrate the maturity, ownership, and performance discipline required to grow into future leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Paid Media (Required)
Execute and manage paid media campaigns aligned with external agency partner and VP set SOPs.
Build and manage Google Search and Display, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ad campaigns according to defined campaign objectives and target audience strategy.
Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, bid adjustments, and creative testing.
Monitor campaign performance daily and optimize based on CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and conversion metrics.
Identify performance trends and proactively recommend optimization opportunities to leadership.
SEO & Website Optimization (Required)
Own on-page SEO strategy and execution: keyword research, content direction, landing page optimization, and technical improvements.
Track and analyze organic performance; identify ranking opportunities and gaps.
Manage website update projects end-to-end, coordinating with developers and designers – you’re the project lead, not the builder.
Contribute to blog content strategy and create or direct SEO-aligned content.
Manage timelines and ensure digital updates are delivered accurately and efficiently.
HubSpot & Marketing Automation (Required)
Serve as the primary in-house HubSpot subject matter expert, managing campaign execution, segmentation, automation workflows, lifecycle stages, reporting dashboards, and ensuring accurate CRM alignment between marketing and sales CRM.
Plan and guide execution of email campaigns for prospect nurturing, client communications, and lifecycle flows. This includes monitoring the deliverability, open rates, CTR, and conversion performance.
Digital Growth Support (Preferred)
Manage and oversee the execution of organic social media content across relevant channels.
Direct offshore coordinators who handle scheduling and publishing of posts – ability to monitor engagement and performance and refine approach based on results.
Experience with campaign tracking, reporting, and attribution within Salesforce.
Ensure accurate implementation of UTMs, conversion tracking, pixels, and analytics alignment.
Manage a small team of offshore digital coordinators who support execution across channels.
