Non‑Traditional Manager
This role supports the events/proximity team and Sales Leadership. This role focuses on coaching, training and developing the events/ proximity team in the field. The Non‑Traditional Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day activities of their respective team, and offer help as needed to Director of Non‑Traditional Marketing.
Events/Proximity teams will promote our services at local events as well as home shows and will canvass neighborhoods in our territory as a unified team of representatives. They work together and support one another as they strive to meet both shared and individual goals and set qualified appointments for our in‑home Sales Consultants.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve sales and other goals outlined by Director of Non‑Traditional Marketing and Sales Management.
Support the team in generating sufficient lead flow based on daily and weekly goals.
Coach, train, and develop a team of Event/Proximity Marketers with a hands‑on approach. Motivate and effectively coach your team to meet or exceed the daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
Conduct the interview and hiring process for the Events/Proximity Marketing team.
Oversee route planning and event/proximity activities before going out into the field.
Maintain a healthy team culture by engaging in and supporting team members and offering help where needed.
Utilize all performance management tools and processes offered by Overson Roofing.
Work alongside agents in the field to model best practices.
Track team performance and ensure lead quality.
Qualifications
2+ years of leadership experience in event/home show management, and or door‑to‑door, field sales.
Proven ability to build and motivate teams.
Strong coaching, training, and communication skills.
Personable demeanor and friendly attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport with the team and prospective homeowners.
Organized, process‑driven, and comfortable working in the field and events.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with mapping/tracking tools.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
No salary cap!
Compensation & Benefits Disclosure
Compensation for this role may be provided as hourly pay, salary, commission, piece‑rate, bonuses, incentives, or a combination of these methods, depending on the position. The “Estimate of Total Expected Annual Earnings” listed reflects our good‑faith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay for this role, based on factors such as experience, skills, candidate geographic location, state the job is located in, historical trends, and business needs. Actual earnings may vary. Where required by law, we also provide a general description of benefits and other forms of compensation offered, which may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other employee programs.
Estimate of total expected annual earnings: $125,000 USD - $160,000 USD
