We're seeking inclusive and committed part-time flex schedule Warehouse Pickers/Loaders to join Frito-Lay, where you will be responsible for various warehouse duties in our distribution center. With a self-selected flexible schedule, anywhere from 0-28 hours per week, this position provides an excellent opportunity for those seeking part-time employment to balance work and personal commitments. Shifts are available for 4 hours at a time; you can sign up for back-to-back shifts but cannot exceed more than 11.5 consecutive hours. Shift segments are variable; employees sign up for their schedule based on weekly shift availability. Shifts are typically offered on Sundays and Fridays along with other days of the week. Shifts and schedules are subject to change based on business needs. Shifts are available on a first-come first-serve basis. To maintain employment, you must work a minimum of 16 hours a month. This is a flex position, not a set schedule, therefore employee is responsible for selecting available shifts each week. It's a physical job! If you have never worked in a warehouse environment before, you should understand that you will be on your feet for the entirety of your shift. Here is a list of the more frequent tasks you could expect to perform during the workday: Load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trailers Pick appropriate cases according to order using required technology Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer Maintain general housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required Please be sure you meet the following minimum requirements before starting your application: You are 18 years of age or older. You can lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. You can stand and walk for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation. You can climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation. You can repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without reasonable accommodation. You are willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access areas of the plant) You are willing and able to work in an environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces. This is a pilot program to evaluate the effectiveness of this flexible work schedule. In the event the pilot program dissolves, employees will be notified in advance and may be eligible to pursue a full-time or part-time position.
