LGIP Marketing Specialist
U.S. Bancorp Asset Management's Marketing Group is seeking a full-time LGIP Marketing Specialist to coordinate and support national and state-specific marketing efforts for the 18+ local government investment pools (LGIPs) managed and administered by PFM Asset Management, the public sector division of USBAM. These LGIPs are investor-owned cash management programs designed for public sector entities, each with its own identity and branding and governed by a board of trustees. This role will work within Marketing's Strategy and Planning team and collaborate closely with regional marketing specialists, LGIP leaders, and business development staff. The position is also responsible for ensuring consistency and compliance across all LGIP marketing materials, developing and managing LGIP marketing campaigns, and identifying opportunities to scale marketing efforts across programs. Key Responsibilities Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and client service leaders to develop broad themes and initiatives that support LGIP brand objectives and business goals Identify and implement opportunities to systematically improve LGIP marketing collateral, email marketing, thought leadership, presentations, and other materials as needed Develop and implement recurring and ad hoc LGIP marketing campaigns, including the creation or rebranding of email templates and messaging, educational content such as articles and webinars, and management of a national LGIP marketing calendar Manage marketing content on LGIP websites, including recurring and ad hoc updates, in coordination with Marketing's Technology & Tactics team Maintain a library of LGIP content and collateral, including regular renewals with compliance partners and ad hoc updates as needed Coordinate and manage the production of LGIP conference materials, giveaways, banners, and other items in partnership with regional marketing specialists Interface with LGIP boards of trustees during periodic board meetings and other events, as necessary Work with LGIP programs to rebrand or update logos, color palettes, and marketing materials in coordination with branding specialists, as needed Partner with project management teams to support the launch of new LGIPs and/or new products or services within existing LGIPs, as necessary Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience Four to six years of experience in marketing industry Preferred Skills/Experience Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred Minimum of three years of experience in a marketing coordination or similar role Strong writing skills required; financial writing experience preferred Technical and creative writing experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud, with a strong emphasis on InDesign Experience with Sitefinity, Adobe Experience Manager, or similar content management systems preferred Strong organizational skills, including experience using tools such as Microsoft Planner, with exceptional attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be responsive and proactive when working on projects Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Ability to take direction and adapt quickly to changing priorities Proven ability to coordinate and manage multiple deadline-driven projects simultaneously The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
