Description Fernway’s Fulfillment Specialist will be responsible for fulfillment of cannabis orders for dispensaries across the state. This includes document preparation, picking & packing, organization of marketing materials, and delivery of Fernway products to cannabis dispensaries across New York.
Key Responsibilities
Detailed picking & packing of several orders daily, in accordance with state regulations
Creation of transfer manifests and issuance of invoices within ERP system
Correspondence with retail partners regarding delivery documentation
Preparing & organizing labels of inventory items within secure vault space
Improving speed & accuracy of fulfillment processes
Safe and Compliant cannabis delivery as a driver of a delivery vehicle (up to 50%)
Communicating well with supervisors and other team members
Maintaining a clean and organized workplace
Displaying a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to take on additional tasks, such as web-store fulfillments, packaging, warehouse management, etc., on an as‑needed basis
Essential Job Functions
Physically picking and packing orders on‑site M-F
Executing transactions within inventory‑management system
Preparing & organizing labels of inventory items within secure vault space on‑site
Improving speed & accuracy of fulfillment processes
Maintaining a clean and organized workplace
Operating the delivery vehicle in accordance with the laws, ordinances, and regulations of New York
Qualifications & Requirements
21+ years old with a valid Driver’s License
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Self‑starter with a positive attitude
Familiarity with Metrc (preferred)
Familiarity with the Google Suite (preferred)
Enjoys spending time in the car
Clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to climb a ladder up and down
Flexible schedule, with the ability to work overtime when necessary
Ability to reliably commute and work on‑site
Ability to pass Cannabis regulatory pre‑screenings
Ability to successfully complete all required onboarding trainings
A high degree of integrity and ethical conduct, always
