The Ready to Work Internship Program offers paid, hands‑on experience for students interested in building professional skills within a dynamic sports and entertainment organization. Interns will support day‑to‑day operations, contribute to real projects, and gain exposure to how teams collaborate across the business.
Interns will participate in structured onboarding, professional development sessions, mentorship opportunities, and meaningful project‑based work aligned to team priorities. This program is designed to provide practical experience, skill‑building, and career exposure for emerging talent in the San Antonio community.
Who You Are? To be eligible for the Ready to Work Internship Program, candidates must meet
all
of the following criteria:
Must be a
current undergraduate or graduate student , including:
Rising undergraduate juniors
Graduate students who have completed
at least one year
of their program
Must have
at least one academic year remaining
following completion of the internship
Must be
eligible to participate in the City of San Antonio’s Ready to Work Program
Must be
based in or attending school in the San Antonio area
Must be available to participate in the
full 8‑week internship program
(June 22 – August 14, 2026)
Must be available to work
up to 40 hours per week
during the internship period.
The

will support community engagement and social impact initiatives. This role provides exposure to programs and partnerships that create positive impact in the community.
What You’ll Do
Assist with planning and coordination of community programs
Support partnerships, events, and outreach efforts
Help track program outcomes and impact metrics
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
What You’ll Gain

Development of communication and project coordination skills
