The Digital Intern will support Future Caucus’ digital and social media presence, assisting the Digital Content Manager in creating, curating, and capturing content for our social channels. This role is ideal for a creative self-starter who is passionate about storytelling, visual content, and elevating the work of Gen Z and millennial lawmakers. Experience with graphic design tools is required.
This is a hybrid position based out of Washington, D.C. for June – August 2026.
Location in Washington, D.C. for the summer is required.

Responsibilities
Assisting with the creation of content for Future Caucus’ primary social media channels (Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook), including graphic design
Identifying and pulling key quotes, moments, and stories from events, interviews, and reports to feature on social media
Monitoring social media channels and identifying opportunities for engagement
Capturing photos and short-form video at events for use across digital platforms
Assisting with basic website updates and content uploads
Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Strong graphic design skills with a sharp eye for visual storytelling (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
Experience using major social media platforms (especially Instagram, X/Twitter, and LinkedIn) and staying ahead of what’s trending
A passion for short‑form videos (Reels, TikToks, etc.) with an understanding of current trends, sounds, and formats
Strong writing and captioning skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and platforms
Interest in U.S. politics and commitment to bridging the partisan divide in US politics
A collaborative, creative mindset and a willingness to jump in wherever needed
About Future Caucus Future Caucus is a nonprofit organization seeking qualified interns to take on significant responsibility and work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. Interns will work at a high level with Future Caucus’ staff out of our Washington, DC office. Internship applications are accepted on a rolling basis, we are currently hiring for the Summer 2026 semester (June – August 2026). This is a hybrid position based out of Washington, D.C.
Location in Washington, D.C. for the summer is required.
Internship Candidate Requirements
Current undergraduate student at an accredited institution
Passion for Gen Z & Millennials in politics and/or future-focused ideas
Strong research and writing skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and flexibility
