Staff Accountant

Accounts Receivable
expertise to join our finance team. We are moving with extreme urgency for a precision-oriented professional who can hit the ground running. The Role This is a sophisticated accounting position designed for someone who thrives in a high-volume, multi-channel environment. You will manage the full lifecycle of our revenue—from complex DTC and marketplace cash reconciliations to meticulous chargeback and deduction management. Core Responsibilities Heavy Accounts Receivable & Revenue Recovery:
Lead the AR process, including invoicing, cash application, and resolving customer deductions. You will be the point person for researching shortages and recovering revenue from chargebacks. Precision Cash Reconciliation:
Manage daily reconciliations for Shopify and global marketplace revenue, ensuring every deposit, fee, and refund aligns perfectly with sales activity. General Ledger & Compliance:
Prepare month-end journal entries, reconcile payment processor settlements, and support multi-jurisdictional sales tax filings. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with E-commerce and Operations to resolve disputes and identify process improvements as we scale. The Ideal Profile Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Experience:
2–4 years of accounting experience, specifically within
Retail, DTC, or E-commerce. AR Expertise:
Proven track record in accounts receivable, deduction management, and payment processor reconciliations. Technical Skills:
Mastery of Excel and experience with ERP systems; experience with Shopify revenue is highly preferred. Mindset:
