Overview This position is responsible for providing a broad range of professional and administrative support to the VP of Labor & Employee Relations, Labor Counsel, and the department. Responsible for managing and overseeing Employee Relations operations and the processing of payroll transactions. This position facilitates the processing of unemployment claims.
Responsibilities Collects and analyze reports and provides data to vendors. Manages the HCM position process; troubleshoots inconsistencies and escalates to departments as needed. This position serves as a consultant to departments and associates on medical center HR policies and union contract provisions. Ensures that all Medical Center leaders and associates receive the highest degree of professionalism and services.
Requirements
Associates Degree required
Bachelors Degree preferred
3 years of experience required - experience within healthcare and a unionized environment preferred
PC Proficient
Ability to communicate with associates at all levels within the organization with extreme tact and diplomacy
Knowledge of DOL's requirement, specific to Unemployment Insurance
Knowledge of EEO requirements
