Job Description The Architectural Drafter role involves modeling and drafting using Revit and AutoCAD, primarily focusing on completing construction documents. You will work closely with architects and engineers to ensure design alignment with zoning and project requirements and gather necessary information to produce accurate drawings.

Use CAD and REVIT software to draft drawings as directed.

Update existing drawing files based on supervisor's redlines.

Perform limited zoning and building code research as directed.

Coordinate assembly of drawing sets under supervision.

Update designs and check for accuracy.

Develop architectural solutions under supervision.

Research architectural technologies for building design implementation under supervision.

Assist with interfacing with engineering consultants under supervision.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Experience working on construction documents.

Ability to put together construction documents.

Commercial, public works, or education projects experience.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Architectural Drafter or Designer, ideally 5-10 years.

High proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (8/10).

Experience in education, public works, or commercial projects.

Ability to prepare conceptual and schematic documents including site plans, floor plans, exterior elevations, building sections, and basic building code analysis.

Work Environment The office has an open format with 18 employees and is conveniently located near a Starbucks. Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, NV.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.25 – $36.06 /hr.
