WACOSA is currently seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to support the Human Resources team with a primary focus on recruitment coordination, workforce planning and strategic Human Resources initiatives.
The Human Resources Specialist will play a vital role in supporting WACOSA’s mission to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live meaningful, fulfilling, and independent lives.
Responsibilities of a Human Resources Specialist:
Coordinate full-cycle recruitment processes, including; posting job openings, screening applications and coordinating interviews.
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and timelines.
Support development of recruitment marketing materials highlighting company culture, career pathways, and mission.
Track and maintain applicant flow data and generate recruitment metrics reports.
Provide administrative support for HR strategic projects and long-term initiatives.
Responsible for staying up-to-date on Human Resource rules and regulations, and ensuring that WACOSA is in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills for a Human Resources Specialist:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.
1-3 years experience in Human Resources or recruitment preferred.
Strong technical and computer skills with intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, and general database knowledge.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of employee records and sensitive organizational information in compliance with federal and state regulations.
