Position Summary The Aquatic Designer actively utilizes Revit skills in a team environment to communicate system design information from engineers to the construction team. Work activities involve design, drafting, and interfacing with all company divisions and external parties including engineering consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and other partners as necessary. Strong technical skills and the ability to create 2D and 3D construction drawings is necessary.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Develops and supports tools and processes to enhance design production productivity
Supports and collaborates with outside consultants in ongoing building design, Revit-related standards, tools, and processes
Understands needs of Life Time Construction and business owners to provide solutions that are appropriate for their intended use while providing the best value
Designs aquatic components of new prototype facilities and unique projects
Makes modifications on existing
ew designs using applicable technical Revit knowledge and experience
Generates and checks bill of materials
Executes Revit models to maintain and develop Life Time prototype designs
Coordinates drawings with other disciplines to ensure well-integrated building design
Collaborates with Life Time Construction on prototype and project-specific drawing changes
Ensures adherence to standards and best practices
Reviews contractor submittals
On-site observations and reporting of construction activities
Performs related duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Associate's Degree in Engineering
2 or more years of experience in commercial pool design, process mechanical piping system design, heavy industrial construction, or construction administration
Proficient with Revit software
Registration as an Engineer In Training
Monthly travel to project sites or as required
Ability to work with CAD software programs such as REVIT and AutoCAD
Preferred Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Professional Engineer License
Pay This is a salaried position starting at $54,000.00 (or applicable minimum salary, if higher) and pays up to $72,000.00, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, this role is eligible for bonuses based on performance metrics.
