Position Summary The AML Transaction Monitoring Investigator will report to the FIU Lead in the BSA/AML & Sanctions Department. On a day‑to‑day basis, the successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing AML and Fraud Transaction Monitoring alerts, conducting investigations, and preparing SARs and CTRs.

The Investigator will also assist in reviewing sanctions screening alerts and supporting the customer due diligence process. This role is hands‑on and critical to maintaining the Bank’s strong compliance posture in a highly regulated environment.

Core Responsibilities This role covers the following responsibilities:

Review AML and Fraud Transaction Monitoring alerts from HawkAI, the Bank’s transaction monitoring platform.

Conduct transaction monitoring investigations, managing cases from start to finish.

File suspicious activity reports (SAR) and currency transaction reports (CTR) with FinCEN.

Review 314(a) reports and conduct associated investigations.

Conduct investigations based on 314(b) requests.

Review customer and transaction screening sanctions alerts.

Support the client onboarding customer due diligence process and periodic reviews.

Support the FIU Lead in the production of metrics reporting for senior management.

Create escalation reports for senior management.

Ideal Candidate Profile We are looking for a versatile candidate who is hands‑on and wants to work in a fast‑paced, innovative, dynamic, and collaborative environment. Candidates for this role will have the following knowledge and experience:

5+ years of experience in AML and Fraud Transaction Monitoring alert reviews, investigations, and SAR/CTR filing.

Sanctions screening experience, including reviewing name and payment screening alerts and conducting investigations.

Experience supporting client onboarding, including KYC record reviews and periodic reviews.

Strong knowledge of U.S. AML, OFAC sanctions, FCPA, anti‑bribery and corruption, and broader anti‑financial crime regulatory frameworks and requirements.

Prior experience with HawkAI and Middesk is preferred.

Previous experience working within a bank’s BSA/AML department or supporting operations.
