Solutions Consultant Intern – MIS or Business Major
Checkmarx, Dallas, TX, United States
About The Opportunity
During the 2026 summer internship, you’ll help us turn customer conversations into a sales superpower — and use Claude as the connective tissue that ties it all together.
We’re looking for two curious, driven university students — one with a Computer Science background and one from a MIS or Business background — to collaborate on building an AI‑assisted workflow that accelerates our sales cycle. Together, you’ll use Claude to integrate and orchestrate our existing AI tools: pulling insights from Clari Copilot call recordings, powering smarter demos, sharpening Proof of Value criteria, and generating closeout presentations backed by real customer data.
What You’ll Build By the end of the summer, you’ll have helped us measurably shorten the sales cycle and reduce the number of meetings required to close deals by delivering:
A Claude-powered integration layer that connects Clari Copilot, CRM data, and other AI tools into a single, repeatable sales workflow
A prompt library and orchestration framework using Claude to extract demo-relevant insights from call transcripts and route them to the right stage of the sales cycle
Standardized Proof of Value success criteria derived from actual customer conversations and automatically surfaced by Claude during active deals
An AI-automated Proof of Value status update workflow fed by Clari Copilot outputs and synthesized by Claude for sales rep consumption
A template-driven closeout deck auto-populated with real engagement data via Claude API integrations
All project artifacts, prompts, templates, and documentation version-controlled in GitHub
Handoff documentation enabling the sales team to self-sustain and extend the process post‑internship
What You’ll Learn
How to use Claude as an AI orchestration layer to connect disparate tools and automate multi-step workflows
How enterprise sales cycles work and where AI creates the most leverage
Hands‑on experience with prompt engineering, API integration, and agentic AI design patterns
How to take an ambiguous problem, scope a solution, and ship something that sticks
Strong mentorship from Sales, Marketing, and Engineering leaders
Eligibility
Residing in the Dallas, Texas area.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
The company does not provide employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Qualifications
Degree: Pursuing a Bachelor's in MIS, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, graduating Winter 2026 or Spring 2027
Business acumen: Understanding of sales processes, customer lifecycle, or go‑to‑market workflows — through coursework, internships, or personal interest
Systems thinking: Ability to map a business problem into a structured process or workflow design
Data fluency: Comfortable working with data — whether in Excel, SQL, a CRM, or a BI tool — to draw insights and support decisions
AI curiosity: Exposure to or strong interest in applying AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to automate and improve business workflows
Communication: Exceptionally clear communicator — able to translate technical outputs into language sales teams can act on, in writing and in person
Work style: Self‑directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams with minimal hand-holding
AI mindset: Willing to explore, experiment with, and build using AI tools as a core part of your workflow
Nice to Have
Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot
Exposure to project management or workflow tools (Notion, Asana, Jira, or similar)
Experience with prompt writing or working directly with AI tools in an academic or professional setting
Prior internship or coursework in sales operations, revenue operations, or business process improvement
What We Have to Offer
Competitive salary
Medical, dental, vision and additional incentives
Culture of community and opportunity to work in a growing organization
Room for career growth and professional development
Training and educational opportunities
