About the Role / Position Summary The VP, OCIO Strategy & Solutions will play a central role in scaling and evolving FEG’s OCIO platform by building disciplined processes and helping define and execute a consistent, high-quality client experience.

This role is responsible for designing and operationalizing the frameworks that enable growth, while serving as a key contributor to how FEG transitions clients from consulting to OCIO. Acting as a connector across Advisors, Portfolio Management, Operations, Client Development, and Technology, this individual will drive alignment, accountability, and execution across the OCIO business.

Success in this role requires strategic thinking and leadership to translate business goals into scalable processes and growth initiatives, while driving a disciplined and repeatable approach to client conversion and OCIO platform expansion.

What You’ll Do / Position Responsibilities Process & Platform Scale

Design and continuously improve core processes supporting the OCIO platform to enable scale, efficiency, and consistency.

Align Advisors, Portfolio Management, Operations, Client Service, and Technology to operate as an integrated system.

Establish clear workflows, handoffs, and “rules of engagement” between consulting and OCIO models.

Identify and execute opportunities to enhance the OCIO platform and operating model.

Support key platform initiatives, including onboarding enhancements and development of a preferred providers program, in partnership with Advisors, Portfolio Management, and Operations.

Client Conversions (Consulting to OCIO)

Contribute to defining FEG’s approach to client service line conversions, establishing a repeatable and effective strategy.

Partner with Advisors and senior leaders to transition clients from consulting to OCIO, including governance, education, and presentation strategy.

Design and standardize conversion materials, messaging, and processes.

Coordinate across Advisors, Portfolio Management, and Operations to deliver seamless transitions and maintain client trust.

Track conversion outcomes and refine approach based on results and client feedback.

Strategy & Business Growth

Contribute to OCIO business strategy, including SWOT analysis, business planning, and identification of key growth levers.

Develop and execute initiatives that drive OCIO adoption and expansion across the existing client base.

Identify and prioritize growth opportunities across client segments with Advisors and Client Development.

Develop segment-specific strategies to strengthen OCIO positioning.

Contribute to the development of preferred provider relationships aligned with client needs and platform strategy.

Partner with Client Development on RFPs, finals, and go-to-market messaging.

Synthesize client and advisor feedback to inform strategy and service evolution.

Client Experience

Define and advance the OCIO client experience, ensuring consistency in delivery and communication.

Support team members in onboarding and transitions, partnering with Advisors, Portfolio Management, and Operations to ensure alignment.

Partner with Advisors and Portfolio Management to ensure client objectives, asset allocation, and portfolio structure are clearly understood and executed.

Develop client‑facing messaging on OCIO services, portfolio construction, and service model differentiation.

Serve as a connector across teams to improve transparency, communication, and execution.

Lead internal training and knowledge‑sharing on OCIO processes and positioning.

Establish metrics to track service consistency, client satisfaction, and operational effectiveness.

Foster a collaborative, solutions‑oriented culture grounded in accountability and continuous improvement.

Partner with OCIO Strategy & Solutions team members to support innovation and enhance the client experience.

Represent FEG in client settings and industry forums as needed.

Leadership & Collaboration

Serve as a connector across teams to improve transparency, communication, and execution.

Lead internal training and knowledge‑sharing on OCIO processes and positioning.

What We Expect / Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Master’s or further certification desired.

8–12 years of experience in institutional client service, relationship management, or investment consulting.

Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems with minimal guidance.

Proven ability to build and scale service models in complex, team‑based environments.

Deep understanding of the OCIO business model and client delivery processes.

Strong facilitation, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to connect across disciplines.

Strong alignment with FEG’s culture, with demonstrated team‑building instincts and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Investment experience preferred.
