Partner with Newsletter strategist to support lifecycle marketing initiatives including onboarding, engagement, retention, and winback programs
Translate editorial tentpoles and major moments into subscription‑driving campaigns
Podcast Growth & Audience Expansion
Own marketing strategy for The Verge’s podcast portfolio, with a focus on expanding reach, increasing listenership, and driving repeat engagement
Develop go‑to‑market plans for new shows, series launches, and key episodes — including positioning, rollout strategy, and cross‑channel promotion
Lead distribution and amplification efforts across platforms (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, social, and on‑site), optimizing for discovery and sustained growth
Identify and activate growth levers such as cross‑promotion, creator collaborations, newsletter integrations, and off‑platform partnerships
Partner with Audio and Editorial teams to package episodes and franchises in ways that maximize cultural relevance and shareability
