We're not hiring a technician to plug into an existing department. We're hiring the person who will build and eventually lead our HVAC division. If you're an experienced
HVAC Service Technician
who holds active HVAC licensing (or is close to obtaining it!), has great sales skills, and is tired of working for a large company where you're just a number (you want to be part of building something!), this is your opportunity!
The Role: You’ll first start hands‑on: running residential HVAC service calls, diagnosing systems, performing installs and maintenance, and selling repairs, replacements, and maintenance agreements. As the HVAC division grows, your role transitions into a leadership role: hiring techs, overseeing operations, driving revenue, and shaping strategy. The pace of that transition depends on growth, and growth depends heavily on you.
What We Offer YOU:
Competitive base salary (experience & license dependent) – approx. $80-90K/year base + bonus and incentives = $120-125K annually)
Commission paid on HVAC jobs & maintenance agreements SOLD
Bonus/residuals on maintenance agreements you originate
Take-home truck with fuel card
Diagnostic tools provided

Clear path to HVAC Division Manager
What You’ll Do: Service & Technical
Diagnose and repair heat pumps, gas furnaces, central AC, and mini‑splits
Perform installs, replacements, and seasonal tune‑ups
Ensure work meets NC mechanical code
Maintain clean, professional job sites and vehicles
Sales & Customer Experience
Present repair vs. replacement options clearly and honestly
Sell maintenance agreements and follow up on open estimates
Educate customers and represent the company professionally
Operations (Near-Term)
Help build HVAC processes, pricing, and workflows
Provide input on equipment brands and suppliers
Track job costs and help establish profitability benchmarks
Leadership (As We Grow)
Hire and train HVAC technicians
Oversee scheduling, quality, and customer satisfaction
Drive revenue goals and maintenance agreement growthCollaborate on pricing and division strategy
Must Have Skills/Requirements:
Active NC HVAC Contractor license (or ability to obtain quickly)
Active EPA 608 Universal certification (or willing/able to obtain it in a short timeframe)
3+ years residential HVAC service experience
Proven sales performance (repairs, replacements, maintenance agreements)
Valid driver’s license, clean record, background check
Strong Advantages:
Residential service experience
Familiarity with flat‑rate pricing and service software
Ability to run calls independently
Interest in stepping into management
