Position Overview

Seeking an experienced construction Superintendent to oversee a $25M addition at a secure residential facility. This role oversee's onsite construction, monitoring contractors and subcontractors coordination, and compliance across multiple contracts.

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

Monitor contract compliance via daily inspections for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing trades.

Review contractor As‑Builts monthly to ensure they are updated.

Conduct and document per procedures onsite QA/QC activities through use of: 1st Delivery Inspections, Closure Inspections, Mock‑Up Inspections, and Acceptance Testing.

Prepare and coordinate Pre‑Activity meetings prior to significant scopes of work.

Perform a detailed comparison of the contract drawings, specifications, and approved product submittals to ensure conformance with the contract. Ensure that Manufacturer’s Installation Instructions are being followed.

Monitoring of sub‑contractor & supplier usage to ensure pre‑approval before work starts.

Assist the contractor(s) with the coordination of activities on the construction site with the other trades and the facility.

Monitor workforce and performance against the work plan.

Coordinate facility training.

Ensure OSHA 10 cards are on file for each worker.

Ensure compliance with generally accepted standards of workmanship.

Offer recommendations to improve constructability.

Complete punchlists and track completion.

Qualifications Requirements

8+ years construction experience, with a minimum of 5 years as superintendent on large scale projects.

Able to communicate a project work plan, monitor manpower and performance against work plan.

Able to perform detailed comparison of design drawings against each other to assure coordination between each of the trades.

OSHA 30 required.

Preferred / Plus:

Experience working on OGS or other public sector projects.

Experience working in secure or correctional facility environments.

Compensation & Benefits

$110,00 - 120,000 (based on experience)
