Job Description The Associate Technical Producer supports the Technology organization in Story and Franchise Development (SFD / Blizzard Cinematics) by owning communication, documentation, and administrative workflows that enable technical leaders and engineers to stay focused on delivery. This role is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and people-facing, acting as a connective tissue between leadership, production, and the broader team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex environments, excels at follow-through, and takes pride in keeping teams aligned, informed, and running smoothly. The role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on‑site and some work‑from‑home. The home studio for this role is Irvine, CA. This is roughly a 12‑month temporary position with a start date in June.
Responsibilities
Support the VP of Cinematics, Technology Production manager, and other Tech leaders
Assist the Sr. Technical Producer on all projects in development, especially critical path projects
Schedule and facilitate meetings and take concise, comprehensive notes for distribution and follow-up
Prepare conference rooms
Manage calendars for tech leadership, including setting up meetings and confirming attendance
Help manage team information infrastructure (Jira boards, project schedules, Confluence/Wiki pages)
Wrangle team events, conferences, and similar
Assist team with administrative tasks (timecards, expense reports)
Occasionally assist with meal orders and pickup for lunch meetings
Assist tech leadership with any misc. support needed
Minimum Requirements
Persistent self‑motivation and initiative; hardworking “can‑do” attitude is necessary
Experience with project management and documentation software including Jira, Confluence, Excel
Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate about highly technical subjects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Proven ability to take clear notes, track action items, and follow through to completion
Extra Points
Previous experience in animation production for TV, feature film, or games
Previous experience in a coordination, production, operations, or administrative role
Familiarity with CG and VFX software, pipelines, workflows, and processes
Knowledge of Blizzard games, franchises, and expanded universes
Familiarity with Flow production tracking software
Familiarity with Outlook

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $24.04 – $44.47 hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay of new hires across all U.S. locations. The specific range and offer will be based on factors including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation.
