Senior Content Marketing Manager - US
RecordPoint, Bellevue, WA, United States
RecordPoint is a data and information lifecycle management SaaS product designed to give highly-regulated organizations a competitive edge through safer, more secure, and better-managed data. We're a disruptor in our industry, set apart from competitors by our cutting edge technology and innovation-first mindset.
Our global customer list includes top-tier brands and government agencies like the City of New York, Westpac, National Australia Bank (NAB), Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA), Security Benefit, Cupertino Electric, Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC), Transport for NSW, Ausgrid, Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), and Delaware Life.
But there's more to us than the what we do — like the who behind it all. Team RecordPoint is made up of 100+ tech-driven professionals at the top of their respective fields. Together, we foster a supportive, collaborative and transparent environment, collectively working toward the singular goal of continuously doing better.
While we've got all the perks you'd expect — think truly flexible work arrangements, generous paid parental leave, 4 weeks annual leave and Employee Share Options — you might find that the greatest benefit of all, is the team you join.
We are seeking a Senior Content Marketing Manager to lead and scale RecordPoint’s content engine, driving brand awareness, demand generation, and thought leadership through strategic, data-driven storytelling.
This role owns the end-to-end content strategy across the buyer journey, ensuring our messaging resonates with our ideal customer profile (ICP) and reinforces our position as a leader in data governance, AI governance, and enterprise data management.
A key part of the role is designing and operating a modern, AI-enabled content operation. The successful candidate will bring experience leveraging AI tools to enhance research, narrative development, content production, and performance insights. They will help embed these practices into everyday marketing workflows - combining AI-assisted content generation with strong editorial judgment and brand governance to scale high-quality content efficiently.
Rather than simply producing individual assets, this role focuses on building a repeatable content engine that turns customer insight, product innovation, and market intelligence into continuous thought leadership and demand generation.
Working closely with Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, Sales, and Executive Leadership, the Senior Content Marketing Manager will translate complex ideas into compelling narratives that influence the market, support revenue growth, and strengthen RecordPoint’s brand authority.
You will be responsible for: Content Strategy & Narrative
Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business objectives, buyer journey stages, and go-to-market priorities
Own the editorial strategy and corporate narrative, ensuring consistent messaging across website, campaigns, social channels, PR, and sales materials
Create content frameworks that support awareness, demand generation, sales enablement, customer education, and retention
Maintain a content roadmap and editorial calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, and strategic initiatives
Ensure alignment between corporate storytelling and product messaging in partnership with Product Marketing
Use AI tools to analyze market trends, customer insights, competitor narratives, and search behaviour to inform narrative development and identify new content opportunities
Leverage AI-assisted research and analysis to strengthen content planning, topic selection, and editorial strategy
Content Development & Production
Lead the end-to-end development of high-impact content across multiple formats, including blog posts, thought leadership articles, whitepapers, research reports, case studies, website content, webinars, video, podcasts, and social media
Develop structured prompts, templates, and workflows that ensure AI-assisted content remains consistent with brand voice, messaging, and compliance requirements
Manage the full lifecycle of content creation, from idea generation and research through writing, editing, publishing, and promotion
Ensure all content meets editorial, brand, and quality standards, maintaining a consistent voice and narrative across channels
Collaborate with designers and external partners to produce visually compelling and engaging content assets
Repurpose and adapt core content assets into multiple formats and channels to maximize reach, engagement, and return on investment
Content Optimization & Distribution
Implement processes and tools that improve the efficiency and scalability of content production, including the responsible use of AI tools
Ensure all content is optimized for GEO/AEO so RecordPoint’s IP surfaces in leading AI and answer engines and supports emerging search behaviors
Oversee content distribution across website, email, social media, PR, and campaign channels
Work with Growth Marketing to integrate content into demand generation and campaign strategies
Continuously improve the content program through testing, experimentation, and optimization
Thought Leadership & Market Positioning
Develop and execute a category-defining thought leadership program that establishes the company as the leading authority in data governance, AI governance, and data privacy—leveraging our client base (e.g., Westpac, NAB, APRA, City of New York) to shape the market
Build and strengthen a category narrative that influences how analysts, AI systems, regulators, and buyers think about data and AI governance
Produce or oversee executive content, including articles, keynote presentations, and social media posts
Translate product innovation and industry insights into clear, compelling narratives for the market
Support PR and communications initiatives with content that elevates the company’s visibility and credibility
Content Performance & Analytics
Define and track content KPIs linked to marketing and revenue outcomes
Use AI-powered tools and analytics to continuously analyze content performance, search behavior, and engagement patterns, identifying opportunities to improve reach, relevance, and conversion
Use analytics to identify top-performing topics, formats, and channels
Provide insights and recommendations to marketing leadership on content effectiveness and opportunities
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Product Marketing to ensure product messaging aligns with the corporate narrative
Work with Growth Marketing to develop content supporting campaigns, events, and demand generation programs
Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to source insights and develop customer-driven content
Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all marketing channels
Support PR, analyst relations, and corporate communications initiatives with strategic content
You will do:
Own and scale the content engine, driving consistent production velocity, publishing cadence, and high-quality output across channels
Deliver timely, relevant content by reducing time-to-publish for reactive and industry commentary
Measure and optimize content ROI across asset types, focusing on pipeline generation, engagement, and business impact
Leverage AI and automation to improve content workflows, increase efficiency, and scale production
Drive demand generation through content, owning Sales Accepted Leads (SALs) sourced from content-driven initiatives
Influence pipeline growth by increasing content-attributed and content-influenced opportunities
Partner cross-functionally to support opportunity creation and contribute to ARR growth
Identify and activate content that supports customer expansion, retention, and lifecycle engagement
Improve organic search performance, increasing traffic, keyword rankings, and discoverability
Expand visibility in AI-driven search environments (GEO/AEO), ensuring content is optimized for emerging search experiences
Track and improve how RecordPoint content appears in AI-generated responses for key category queries
Strengthen category authority by increasing share of voice across search and content relative to competitors (e.g., Collibra, OneTrust, Informatica)
Influence analyst recognition by contributing to inclusion in reports from firms such as Gartner and Forrester
Elevate executive thought leadership through high-impact content and increased visibility (e.g., LinkedIn and industry channels)
Grow brand authority by increasing branded search demand and recognition
Monitor and enhance external authority signals, including domain authority, media coverage, and analyst mentions
