Phlebotomist III Float - Fairfax, VA
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotational weekends.
Work Environment
– In a Phlebotomy float role, you will work across multiple patient centers, experiencing varied daily tasks. The dynamic setting offers continuous new interactions and a robust total rewards package.
Pay Range:
$20.23+ per hour. Salary considerations include skills, training, experience, education, and certifications. Successful candidates may receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities Job Duties:
Cover an assigned territory across Patient Service Centers, doctor’s offices, or other sites as business needs dictate.
Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing.
Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
Enter billing information and collect payment when required.
Coach, mentor, instruct, and serve as a resource advisor for new employees and be the point of contact to staff on site, providing regular input to the group lead or supervisor.
Travel to additional doctor’s offices or Patient Service Center sites when needed.
Qualifications Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience
Five years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Minimum three years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
Keyboard and data entry experience.
The position requires effective communication in English.
