Make An Impact The Senior Communications and Engagement Specialist plays a key role in shaping and delivering engaging communications that connect Fossil Group’s vision, strategy, culture, and business priorities with its employees and stakeholders. This role partners closely with leaders and cross‑functional teams to develop creative communication strategies, produce compelling content, and support enterprise events that strengthen employee engagement and alignment.
The ideal candidate is an editorial thinker, strategic storyteller, proactive collaborator, and skilled communicator who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can translate complex information into clear, engaging messaging across multiple channels. This role is a hybrid position, requiring you to be onsite Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
What You Will Do In This Role
Develop and execute internal communication strategies, campaigns, and content that support company initiatives, business priorities, and employee engagement.
Design and produce digital and physical communications, including presentations, visual assets, newsletters, and other internal communication materials.
Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, provide communication counsel, and develop creative solutions that translate complex ideas into clear, impactful messaging.
Own and elevate the company’s LinkedIn presence with high‑performing posts.
Create and manage original content for the company’s website and intranet.
Manage and maintain the internal communications content calendar to ensure timely, coordinated messaging across the organization.
Lead the planning and execution of internal events, including Town Halls, leadership meetings, sales conferences, and employee celebrations.
Create compelling visual and written content aligned with Fossil Group’s strategy, people, and culture.
Monitor communications workflows and manage incoming requests to ensure projects are prioritized and delivered effectively.
Support leadership communications, including presentations, talking points, and strategic messaging.
Track and analyze content performance metrics across all owned channels.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve internal communication channels, tools, and employee engagement.
Requirements Who You Are
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging messaging.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
Highly organized with strong project management abilities and attention to detail.
Experience planning and executing corporate events and leadership meetings preferred.
Strong design and content creation skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
Advanced PowerPoint /Google Slides presentation design skills.
Experience with WordPress or internal communication platforms preferred.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Highly motivated, self-starter who can manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
5+ years of experience in communications, internal communications, marketing, or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related discipline preferred.
