Position Summary
TCL North America is seeking a detail‑oriented and analytically driven Marketing Operations Analyst to support financial planning, budget management, and operational execution across marketing initiatives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring marketing investments are effectively tracked, optimized, and aligned with business priorities. Acting as a key partner to Marketing and Finance, this individual will oversee budget planning, monitor spend performance, and support process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and financial accuracy. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with hands‑on execution and thrives in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
Duties
Lead monthly rolling budget reviews across programs and projects, analyzing actuals vs. forecast and annual plan to identify risks, savings opportunities, and required adjustments
Support budget planning, allocation, and reallocation across marketing programs based on evolving business priorities
Own the end‑to‑end financial workflow for marketing initiatives, including project setup, PO submission, approvals, invoice tracking, and payment processing
Partner with external vendors to manage contracts, invoice collection, and payment timelines
Ensure all marketing expenditures are compliant with internal financial policies and audit requirements
Maintain close alignment with Finance teams on spend tracking, budget pacing, and rolling forecasts to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data
Support marketing performance tracking and ROI analysis to enable data‑driven decision making
Continuously evaluate and improve marketing operations processes, documenting updates into SOPs to ensure scalable and compliant execution
Prepare budget summaries, financial reports, and performance recaps for leadership
Participate in weekly marketing leadership meetings, capturing key decisions, tracking action items, and ensuring follow‑through across stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field
2–5 years of experience in marketing operations, financial analysis, or a related function
Strong understanding of marketing budget management, financial processes, and spend tracking
Advanced proficiency in Excel with the ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and execution‑focused with strong follow‑through
Nice to Haves
Experience in multinational or large‑scale organizations
Familiarity with budget management systems (e.g., SAP or similar tools)
Experience in digital marketing, e‑commerce, or consumer electronics industry
