Assistant Director of Positive Options

Responsibilities
Manage and oversee behavioral support services for adults and children, which includes completing assessments, behavior plans, consultation, brief support implementation services, and protocols Consult with the individual’s support team, medical, mental health, and other practitioners to provide informed behavioral support Conduct initial and ongoing training for direct support staff on implementing behavior plans and protocols Complete observations and treatment integrities with individuals receiving services and staff Dedicate time to the individuals’ receiving services at their homes, day centers, or other community settings Attend required meetings Create prevention plans and support plans as needed Conduct supervision meetings with behavioral support staff Conduct an ongoing assessment of progress in all pertinent environments against the individual’s goals, outlined in the individual’s person-centered plan and, if applicable, behavior plan Prepare written progress notes on the individual’s goals, outlined in the individual’s person-centered plan and the behavior plan Serve as an active member of everyone’s team, which includes involvement in plan development Present behavior plans to the Human Rights Committee Flex schedule throughout the week, including evenings and weekends if needed Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree in a relevant field BCBA preferred Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record Have at least one year of clinical experience Working Conditions
